Jenean Moore, M.A., LCPC
As our dedicated group counselor, Jenean encourages clients to experience freedom, healing, and growth through group support, processing, and education. Jenean is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois. She holds a Masters Degree in Counselor Education and Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University and she received a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Accepting God's calling into the counseling field has allowed Jenean the honor of guiding people through difficult seasons of life. With over 20 years of experience working in a variety of settings, Jenean has developed a great ability to build rapport with clients. She is currently leading therapy groups and encourages clients to be actively involved in the counseling process through education, engaging in God's Word, journaling, art, music, media, and other strategies that challenge clients to grow emotionally, relationally, and spiritually. She offers practical tools that can be used in everyday life to promote confidence, increase healthy relationships, and discover purpose.
In addition to her work at White Stone, Jenean volunteers as a leader of the moms ministry at her church and engages women in deeper faith development. She enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with her husband and little one. She also likes photography and DIY projects, and will never say no to playing a game with family and friends.
Special interests: Depression, anxiety, teen issues, confidence building, life in transition, grief and loss, infertility, prenatal and postpartum issues, life skills development, chronic health issues.
