David Bronsveld, M.A., LPC
David is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Illinois. He earned a Bachelors degree in Pastoral Studies at Moody Bible Institute and graduated from Moody Theological Seminary with a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health and Counseling. He is also a member of the Illinois Mental Health Counselors Association.
David enjoys working with individuals and couples of various ages and backgrounds. He has experience working with those who are struggling with anxiety, depression, men’s issues, life transitions, and relationship conflicts. While there are several different methods of therapy, David uses an integrative approach by applying empirically supported treatment best suited for the needs of the client.
David also has experience in working with couples to help them navigate complex issues, better their communication, and help build intimacy into the relationship. He uses his training in Gottman Therapy as well as other approaches to help couples strengthen or restore their relationship.
David is also very involved with his local church and has had the opportunity to lead a small group and serve on the preaching team. David’s heart has always been to serve those in the church and is passionate about doing so through counseling.
In his spare time, David enjoys spending time with his wife, going to see Broadway shows, playing board games, and working on a good puzzle.
