Dr. Luis San Roman considers counseling critical in understanding the underlying issues surrounding our relational and emotional well-being. Clients can expect Dr. Luis to meet them where they are with empathy and intuition. Dr. Luis specializes in working with couples struggling in their relationships. He partners with couples to help them excavate patterns, cultivate connection, and create lasting change.

In addition, Dr. Luis works with individuals in leadership dealing with various issues, including anxiety, stress, imposter syndrome, burnout, leadership transitions, and conflict resolution. Dr. Luis desires to help clients move beyond their present struggles and develop a healthier, holistic perspective on their lives. He is dedicated to creating supportive yet empowering relationships, allowing his clients to obtain the necessary skills and knowledge to continue to grow and develop.

For those who welcome it, Dr. Luis incorporates spirituality into the therapeutic process, believing it to be a cornerstone of holistic healing. This integration of faith and counseling offers a deeper dimension of support.

In his free time, Dr. Luis enjoys blogging, reading, and spending quality time with his beloved wife and daughters. Dr. Luis is also an Assistant Professor at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.

Dr. Luis San Roman is a bilingual (English / Spanish) Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois. He received his B.A. in Psychology and Latino Studies from Northeastern Illinois University, his M.A. in Mental Health Counseling from Trinity International University, his M.A. in Theological Studies from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, M.A. in Executive Coaching and Consulting from Concordia University Irvine, and his Doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from Governors State University.
