Pauline Limberg, Intern
Pauline Limberg is a counseling intern finishing her Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Moody Theological Seminary in Chicago to receive state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She holds a Masters of Divinity degree from Moody Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering. Pauline has also completed several certificates in Narrative Focused Trauma Care with the Allender Center at the Seattle School of Theology and Psychology.
Pauline has served junior high and high school students and their families in youth ministry for 20+ years in several Illinois churches. She has been a corporate trainer and curriculum developer for several Christian youth organizations, and also for an organization that provides seminary level training for pastors and ministry leaders in international settings. She currently works as the Director of Women's Discipleship at a local church.
Pauline's counseling approach is to partner with clients as they seek answers to life questions and healing from past pain, grief and loss, trauma, abortion, medical trauma, broken relationships, moral injury, and spiritual wounding. She is passionate about creative therapeutic approaches such as music or art therapy and integrating psychoeducation and spiritually integrated care with counseling methods.
Pauline is happily married for 35 years and has two adult children. She enjoys active vacations that include hiking, kayaking, biking, or skiing. She loves music, audiobooks, crafts, baking, cooking, and feeding whoever is hungry!
