Michael Johnson, M.A., LPC
Michael holds a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and a Bachelors in Christian Ministry from Trinity International University.
In his 10+ years of working in the local church as a Youth and Worship Pastor, Michael was always drawn toward providing care for people in need or crisis. His experience working in ministry shapes the way he approaches counseling. He is passionate about ministry and helping people who have experienced church hurt, pastoral burnout, or spiritual disillusionment.
Michael provides individual counseling for teens, young adults, and adults. He also enjoys working with couples and families to strengthen communication, understanding, and mutual care within relationships. He is a deep thinker who loves to listen well and help people live more compassionately toward themselves and others. His clinical interests include trauma and PTSD, depression, anxiety, ADHD, marital issues, men's issues, and church hurt.
Michael is married and enjoys serving the church as a musician. As a social introvert, he enjoys intellectually stimulating conversation that involves a good latte.
